Do I NEED an appointment?

Walk Ins are always welcome, but if you'd like to secure an appointment at a specific time, the quickest and easiest way to do that is to click the "Book an Appointment" button above.  ​

We will answer your call or call you back as soon as we are free from assisting customers who are in the studio!  ​​

Do you Accept Walk Ins?

Can I just walk in during your open business hours?   

How long will I have to wait if I do not have an appointment?

Walk-in's are accepted, and we service each customer order based on a variety of factors including your arrival time, the availability of our artists and piercers, and how we can best manage the tasks associated with your desired service. 

​​

For example regarding Piercing Services, if you arrive at 1 PM to get your nose pierced (FUN!), and another customer has an appointment at 1:15 pm for a quick jewelry change, we will try to get your in-take process completed (show your ID, pick your jewelry, etc.) in those first 15 minutes of your arrival, then sterilize both of you and the other client's jewelry simultaneously in our autoclave.  Then we will quickly change the jewelry for the customer with the appointment (to honor their time), and then dedicate time to your nose piercing to ensure that we have given you the safest, and most thorough experience possible, including proper aftercare instructions and time to answer any questions you may have about your new piercing.

We will honor the time of secured appointments as closely as we possibly can and service all walk-in customers around those appointments in an order that is most efficient and safest/best for everyone.  We appreciate your flexibility and understanding regarding the order in which we service all of our customers, and appreciate your trust that we are operating in a manner that keeps safety, efficiency and our commitment to excellent customer service as our focus.

Please note, for Tattoo Service - we only accept appointments (online or over the phone) for Tattoo Consultations - which is meeting your artist and discussing your desired design, end result and agreed-upon charges for the service .  A Consultation appointment is NOT a guarantee of completion of your tattoo work at the time of your appointment).   Your consultation is complimentary, and if you would like to move forward with the artist to complete your tattoo, we will gladly schedule your next steps after your consultation while you're at the studio.

We do accept walk in's for tattoos - however, If you walk in without an appointment, and you want a tattoo service (actually completing the tattoo work), you are not guaranteed walk-in same-day services.   If we have an artist available (not booked with services for the time you arrive), and your desired design can be completed during the same day within our operating hours, our artist  will happily complete your service.

However, if your desired design cannot be completed during our operating hours, we will gladly book an appointment that works for both you and the artist at the soonest availability for both of you.

Each of our Tattoo Artists set their own payment preferences, please confirm with your Artist at the time of consultation or service on what forms of payment they accept.  For your convenience, we have an ATM on site for cash transactions.

The studio honors the following forms of payment for ALL services (including tattoos!):   cash, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express), debit cards, mobile payments like GooglePay and ApplePay) as well as CashApp all at our main register in the lobby.

While never expected, yet always appreciated, you can provide a tip for your artist or piercing specialist on the form of payment that you select during your check out process.  100% of tips are given directly to the piercer or artist that completes your service.

Tattoo Consultations are done in person only, please, so that we can ensure we fully comprehend your vision and can exceed your expectation in terms of design and placement.

Tattoo Pricing is set individually by each artist and is based on complexity, size, location, etc.   You will receive a quote for your tattoo at the time of consultation and a $100 deposit will hold your appointments and be applied to the final cost of your piece

At American Tattoo Company, we specialize in providing safe and professional piercing services. Our knowledgeable piercers prioritize hygiene and precision, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable piercing experience for our clients.

If you are booking an appointment for someone under the age of 18, please reserve a Piercing Service for Minors and review the ID  and documentation requirements.

​

Our piercing services are $40 per placement. 

For jewelry, we use implant-grade titanium, 14k and 18k gold only and the prices start at $15.  We will also order direct from our suppliers if you want a piece that we do not currently carry in stock.
